Nursery

Children can attend our Nursery in the September after they turn three.

Applications for Nursery places need to be made directly to the school by completing the application form below. For more information, please email: headteacher@poppyfieldacademy.org.uk

Nursery Application Form

Applications must be received on 31st March of the same year you wish your child to start in September.

Reception

To apply for a place for your child in Reception at Poppyfield Primary School, please visit the Staffordshire County Council’s website below and complete the application form.

You need to apply for September 2024 if your child’s fifth birthday is between 1st September 2024 and 31st August 2025.

Applications open: 1st November 2023
Applications close: 15th January 2024

Parents and carers will receive outcomes on 16th April 2024

Nursery and Reception Virtual Open Events

We are unable to hold an Open Day for children who will be starting Nursery or Reception next year due to Covid restrictions.

We will be uploading a virtual tour onto our school website. We will also have Zoom meetings, which will give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

The Zoom sessions will take place on:

Thursday 19th November at 10am
Thursday 19th November at 4pm
Thursday 3rd December at 2pm
